A caregiver role can be stressful, challenging and, at times, an isolating journey. This can have an impact on your physical, mental and emotional well-being. Stress is a common emotional experience that occurs with being a caregiver and over time this can lead to burnout.
I work from a client-centred approach, trying to understand your experience as a caregiver and help you learn different tools so that you can support yourself when you feel overwhelmed to prevent burnout. I use a preventative approach in supporting you in this journey.
